Wajid Khan’s death: Sajid-Wajid’s composer duo incomplete

Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid, the famous composer duo of successful films like Superstar Salman Khan’s ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, died at the age of 42.

He breathed his last on Monday in a hospital in Mumbai. Singer Sonu Nigam has confirmed this in a Facebook post.
Wajid Khan’s brother Sajid Khan told the BBC’s associate journalist Madhu Pal that Wajid Khan was also infected with the Corona virus.

Wajid Khan’s family also confirmed to the BBC, “Pray for his soul.”
Media reports said that Wajid Khan was infected with Corona.
The BBC has been told by his family, “Wajid Khan was suffering from kidney disease and was transplanted two years ago.”
“He had an infection in his neck. He was admitted to Surana Hospital in Chembur.”

The Sajid-Wajid duo started their Bollywood careers in 1998 with ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya‘ and after that, their music continued in Salman Khan’s films. These include films like ‘Garve’, ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Tumko Na Bhooltega’, ‘Partner’.Wajid Khan along with his brother Sajid Khan composed music.
Wajid was not only a fan of popular music, but he was also famous in singing.

Popular songs like ‘Mein Hai Jalwa’, ‘Fevicol Se’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Chinta Ta Chita Chita’, sung by Salman were sung by Wajid Khan.

He recently composed music for Salman Khan to sing ‘Pyar Karo Na’ and ‘Bhai-Bhai’. Salman Khan released these songs on his YouTube channel.
